New Releases

In addition to indie publishing two e-book romantic short story collections--EVERYDAY CINDERELLAS and EVERYDAY PRINCE CHARMING--Karen Rose Smith will see the release of her Montana Mavericks Harlequin Special Edition, HIS COUNTRY CINDERELLA, at the end of August.  Her hero is a country singer she introduced as a secondary character in the 2010 Montana Mavericks release.  For this book she even wrote a country song!  She has also e-published ten backlist titles on Amazon, B&N and Smashwords.

Marliss Melton is thrilled to announce the release of THE PROTECTOR, prequel to my new Taskforce Series.  The name Marliss Melton is  synonymous with hunky Navy SEALs, so when her publisher said “No more Navy SEALs,” she decided to self-publish.  "The result is my best book to date!" she says.  THE PROTECTOR kicks off her new Taskforce Series and features a former Navy SEAL called out of seclusion to protect the daughter of the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan. The last thing Ike wants to do is to babysit a blue-eyed beauty at his mountain hideaway, but when the FBI gives chase, followed by the terrorists seeking to avenge the commander’s actions in Afghanistan, Ike willingly wages a one-man war to protect the woman who has charmed the pants off him.  THE PROTECTOR is now available on Kindle, Nook, and at Smashwords.com, and it's in paperback at Amazon.com.

Bestseller Lists and Appearances

AWAKEN THE HIGHLAND WARRIOR came out May 1st.  In its first week, it was in the top 50 romances sold at Barnes and Noble, and it was #52 on Amazon’s Bestseller List for Time Travels.  Anita Clenney traveled to Martha’s Vineyard where she participated in a agent/author panel and booksigning at Bunch of Grapes Bookstore, which was voted #1 Bookstore by PW in 2002. The event was standing room only and recorded for the local TV station, which also interviewed her. "What an awesome trip," she says. "Hubby went with me and we made it the belated honeymoon that we didn’t take almost 14 years ago."
